Do you want to be A Problem Solver?
The latest technology becomes smaller, less efficient, and even more sophisticated each year. Your phone has more data than massive computers that could send one man into space!
My essay is on how today’s college students contribute to solving the world’s issues. I discuss how technological advances like the green revolution and more efficient cars powered by fuel have contributed to solving many of the problems I was concerned about while I was a student at the university in 1979. However, these new solutions could create new problems. For instance, gas-powered engines have been able to move quicker and faster. However, they have also been questioned about the impact of pollution from the air on global warming.
The coming generation will have a lot of challenges to tackle, but I’ve worked with college students for the past two decades, and I’m sure that they’re well-equipped and prepared to deal with problems. I wrote this piece to help students study topics that interest them to come up with new and creative solutions for the next decade. Below, you’ll find a wealth of questions, suggestions, research links, and videos that will help you with your research paper.
How to Research
- Learn what research assignment you were assigned. What kind of research assignment was given by your instructor? Review your homework and other information in the textbook. For instance, I’ll allow my students to select a specific technology area to write an Analysis, Summary, and Response essay, requiring them to research three or more different perspectives.
- Select a topic. Look at these topics to find the one that’s intriguing to you. If you’re writing an exploratory essay, choosing an issue with at least three perspectives is essential. For those reporting the Argument (or Position) or Cause paper, it’s crucial to be aware of the various perspectives and then use your response to the question to develop your thesis statement.
- Learn more about the topic. If you’ve come across a topic you like, find out more about the subject by reading the related articles. There are numerous additional research papers that you can find in your school library or through Google Scholar. Some journals, such as Discover, Scientific American, or Popular Scientist, deal with science for those who aren’t tech-skilled. Science Daily is a good site for finding the latest information and information.
- Pick a subject you want to research. After finding something that you like with the topic, make a note of the issue and create lists of pertinent issues or words you can utilize to aid in your learning. You can also use other subjects on the list to help when studying.
- Utilize Your Keywords to find articles. Begin by searching your results using an engine that allows you to view what you can find. Ensure you stay clear of pieces that aren’t common to the information your teacher will need.
- Use hyperlinks to Find Good Sources: A good tip is to use hyperlinks in articles written for non-specialists. Connect them to sources that are unique to the report. It is also possible to use libraries’ resources for other academic writing.
